Friday Five

Friday Five this week is all about Fall TV shows.  I have always loved this time of year when all the previews come out for all the new shows.  I usually start off with a bunch I watch but by the end of the seasons it has dwindled down to a few good ones.

Friday Five

I love and hate weeks like this.

I love them because it is the last bit of true free time I will have for a while.

I hate (ok not hate, that is a bit strong) them because there is So much to do.

So much to think about before its "back to reality"

I keep reminding myself though that it is a good thing

That I always do better in a routine.

That I will get so much more done.

Well we will see how that goes...

1.  Jeff Mauro the Sandwich King won Food Network Star! Should I be worried about how much this excites me? Oh well.  His show airs Sunday at 11:30 AM.  I am really looking forward to what he comes up with. I love his concept,"You can make any meal into a sandwich, and any sandwich into a meal."  I think this actually might be a Food Network Show that I would make some recipes off of.

2.  Bachelor Pad this week kinda just made me feel a little sick.  Watching Vienna and Kasey makes me nauseous and I wonder why I am even still watching it.  But then Ames (robot prince charming) sweeps in and makes it all worth it.  When the "love of his life" Jackie gets voted off, and as the limo starts driving away he runs after it and leaves with her.  AWWWW...

Sadly though they are no longer together.

3.  Peanut butter s'mores turnovers have been my addiction this week.  This recipe is amazing, I have already made them twice.  Once for my family and then again the next day when a friend came over. 

Little Mudpies

4.  One of my absolute favorite blogs to read lately is Little Mudpies.  Lindsay is so funny and her son is adorable and I love reading about all the ups and downs in her life.  She has an ease and humor to her writing that just makes you want to keep reading.  She posted a tutorial this week for heatless curled hair that is right up my alley since I am super lazy when it comes to my hair.  I have not tried it yet but it is on my to do list.

Under the Table and Dreaming

5.  Under the Table and Dreaming is one of my favorite blogs of all time, I have been following Stephanie Lynn for what seems like forever.  Needless to say when I saw that my Perfect Pound Cake was featured on her showcase sneak peek I was absolutely ecstatic!

This weeks friday five is going to be a bit different. 

I haven't had a lot of free time which = nothing to post for friday five.

Friday Five

I really didn't realize it was friday today until about an hour ago.  This week has gone by super fast.  I have had quite a lot of orders (yay!) so I have spent my mornings making cups and my evenings working bibleschool at my church.  (I am using that as my excuse as to why I have been a failure at all things internet this week)

1. I have a confession... I watch all things Bachelor; The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and sadly even Bachelor Pad.  This is not something I like to admit but here I am doing it.  This season has been a strange one to say the least, but maybe it was all worth it because they are super cute together.

2.  I LOVE my kindle.  No really, I think it is somewhat unnatural how much I gush about this little guy.  Today I will share just 1 of many reasons... Reason 1:  When finishing a book in a series that I really don't want to be away from, I am literally one click away to being lost in the next book. 

3.  I have been literally lost in this series this week. You know when you are just so into a book that you don't want to stop reading?  You find yourself sneaking in little moments like when you are brushing your teeth or changing clothes or in my case even just walking around the house.  That is how I have been with this one.

4. This picture is a cop out.  Number 4 is my love of this to die for strawberry salad from a little bakery up the road from me.  Yes, I could have taken a picture of it and it would have made more sense but why would I want to do the logical thing?

5.  This is my cat Patches.  I walked out of my room this morning to find this.  The best part? She was actually looking straight at the TV.

Friday Five

Friday Five time again....

1. The perfect summer drink and my absolute favorite lemonade (well actually the only kind I will drink).

2.  Britt Nicole... I can not stop listening to her. Some of my favorites; Have Your Way, Walk on the Water, Set the World on Fire, Hanging on, and Safe.

3. Fun fact about me, I love paranormal romance.  This summer has been a little rough in the reading department, I've been pretty disappointed with some of my favorite authors' new books.  So I took a chance on this one since it was $.99 on kindle and I am so glad I did.  It is completely unique, I have not read anything like it and devoured it in a day. I can't wait until the sequel comes out.

4. I have loved going back and watching reruns of this show with my brother, absolutely hilarious. I can't wait until the new season starts.

5. This is Little Miss Momma and she has an absolutely amazing blog.  I have spent a lot of time this week going back through and reading some of her best of posts, she is truly inspiring.  She is my "blogger" idol.
